He was the first to be known as pound for pound the best in the game. He is great on the matches that were recorded, but ive heard that when he was at his best wasnt recorded. Great reflexes, and speed. He had good power and had great ring savvy. He was champ at welterweight, middleweight, and would have won the light heavy title but conditions werent in his favour.

I saw in a documentary that ray robinson wasnt his real name. When he was an amatuer he replaced another fighter by that name in a tournament, and he just pretended he was that person.

Jones, great speed and reflexes...seemingly bad chin and too cautious to take chances...

Roid considers Robinson to be the greatest fighter of all time. Also Robinson was never knocked out, he quitted in one fight. The guy retired at 1952 with the record of 131-3, Robinson won 96 straight fights, in his first 127 fights he lost only once. When Robinson came back 5 or 6 years later, he wasn't the same fighter, he lost most of his fights at that time.

As for Sugar Ray Leonard, he was also never knocked out. He came back for one fight with Camacho when he was old & he got TKO.

Sugar Ray Leonard took punches from the undefeated Hearns, Leonard had a great chin & had more skills then Roid ever will.

For the last time please do not compare Roid to 2 of the greatest fighters of all time. Roid is overrated & was knocked out cold by the senior citizens like Tarver & Johnson.
