    Whats so good about Sugar ray robinson?

    elaborate, i have not really had an opportunity to see him fight so i am curious as to why he is the greatest fighter to have lived.

    And no pac would prolly not beat him

    ray robinson came along at a time when no fighter has his speed and reflexes..now everybody has it..he was good for his time but if he fought today he would be nothing spectalar

          you really should watch some tapes...

          basically he was everything

          some nut above mentioned he would not be anything special today...

          Jones, great speed and reflexes...seemingly bad chin and too cautious to take chances...

          Robinson, great speed and reflexes, great chin, and willing to take punches...

          Toney, great defense, good speed and skill, but not so great shape and gets lazy sometimes...

          Robinson, great defense, great speed and skill, always in shape and ready to flow...

          Trinidad, great power, determination, but lacking defense and one dimensional...

          Robinson, great power, determination, good defense and multi dimensional...

          shall I continue?
