Stevenson should put himself up for a bid again

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Showtime only one a one fight bid to air his Fonfara fight on Showtime and he's still a neutral. HBO still wants that fight, but looks like they won't want to go to a bid again.

I was fine for the first time, got a huge offer from Showtime that HBO didn't feel like matching.

Everyone was saying it's business and that it's the smart thing to do... which I'm fine with.

Now what's stopping him now from doing the same thing but with this time actually have HBO bid for his fight and actually making more money?

That's not a bad idea. He's put himself in the right position to do just that.

Well everyone in favor of it last time said it was a good business move... which it was.

Got like 1.7 mil for a tune-up fight.

This is an even better business move than before... so unless you just didn't want them to fight, bid sounds even better than the first time around with HBO and Showtime actually bidding

Business involves not getting your butt kicked thus ensuring your next paycheck is a fraction because you lost

So look for Stevenson vs Fonfara 2

HBO will not work with Al Haymon. He's not neutral anymore.

So now bidding is a bad thing? Bid, drive the price up and have it in Canada.

Doesn't matter who wins, it's going to happen in Canada
