If Cotto beats Martinez then Floyd is fighting him next.

He can fight for the 160lbs title and make history. He can then defend that title against Canelo. He doesnt need to come in at 160 after all Cotto was 155 so Floyd can still be 150lbs and beat Cotto and Canelo. After the Canelo rematch he can fight Pacquiao and finish his Showtime contract. These are the only fights that make money. All thsi talk about Khan is hogwash. People wont pay to see Khan fighting and there's no reason why Floyd can not rematch Canelo and Mayweather. They all stand to make huge purses and economics will dictate they have that little tournament.

all those things considered, 800-900k sales is nothing to scoff at.
With or without promotion Cotto and Canelo fights are way bigger. Someone who has made millions of ppvs to pull 900k is utter failure and expensive for showtime. Why would they not make real money beating Cotto again. After all it's all about hype. Cotto is good with Roach but Floyd will really move and get out of there boxing Cotto's ears off and possibly stopping him late.
