It does mean ****. The more weight on a person, I dont care if it's 5lb on your stomach, slows down your punches and movement, and fatigues you more than if it wasn't there. I was having a talk with a trainer about this 2 days ago. A ripped person is also more likely to be the more conditioned athlete, but not always. Most of the time, if you see one guy ripped and the other non ripped, that's the case. And the guy in the best condition can take a punch better after the fourth round, when a person gets exhausted, it affects the membrane surrounding the brain, making them more susceptible to punches to the head. An exhausted person who takes a big shot is more likely to get KO'd than a guy who's just slightly getting tired.
