Most of the time, if you see one guy ripped and the other non ripped, that's the case. And the guy in the best condition can take a punch better after the fourth round, when a person gets exhausted, it affects the membrane surrounding the brain, making them more susceptible to punches to the head. An exhausted person who takes a big shot is more likely to get KO'd than a guy who's just slightly getting tired.
