Not on the basis of that nationality stuff, but on the basis of him being crap. It was some atrocious scoring for a fight that was at worst 8-4 Chisora and realistically 9-3.

Another important bit missed out is that Froch is half polish (or maybe a quarter).

No, it did mention that Froch has a Polish Grandad, making him 1/4 Polish by ancestry, I guess, but 100% British by birth, and national allegiance also, it seems.
If Froch was calling himself, "The Polish Cobra" or some such thing, then maybe Groves would question a Polish judge on those grounds. As it is though, I think the point you mentioned about a possible anti-Sauerland bias is much more likely.

The guy seems to be a decent judge, so its a daft call really. Things are getting as little silly but i don't think any mind games from either guy will be a factor this time around.
