This is the first I've heard of it.
Like I said it is really unconfirmed. Rick Glaser was talking about it on twitter, but he comes out with lots of stuff. He is right sometimes, wrong sometimes.

Floyd PPV bombed. DLH sobered up and realized he's been colluding to steal his fighters with Haymon.

Not really much to say. Dude is finished in the sport. Good riddance.

Never was a boxer. Never will be a boxer. Rode the coattails of one of the most popular and financially influential figures in the sport in de la Hoya to the position he is in now. He's on his way out bud.
Personally i dont a give *** its funny seeing you guys rag on him and haymon but not one of their boxers trying to jump ship so whats going to happen when oscar decides to treat his nose again lmao

Schaefer probably didn't have enough time to implement his plan with Haymon and didn't expect Oscar to come back early. The mass signings of fighters with Haymon was not exactly unusual but seemed immediate. And if you ask these fighters who made them sign up with Haymon, they'd say it was Schaefer. Who else?

I tried to explain this in another thread. I was debating the case of Guerrero with someone and I pointed out how he was inactive, tried to leave GBP, couldn't leave because of CSAC ruling, and then all of a sudden he goes with Haymon. Shortly after getting with Haymon he finally gets a fight all of a sudden. Not a big money fight or big name opponent either, which is why some believe he was sitting out.

Guerrero could've been strong armed into going Haymon by Schaefer, or I could be reaching. From the outside, that's what it looks like though.

hopefully oscar is in the process of getting rid of schaeffer.

the only thing standing in the way of ending the cold war is schaeffer.

Nope. No involvement with this fight at all. They asked him about the undercard and he told them it was up to Oscar and Eric Gomez.

He might just be on vacation. We will see later this month if he shows up to the card with Guerrero, Alexander and Russell.
