scumbag CEOs, bankers, glorified boxing managers come a dime a dozen.

Promoters will always have the upper hand in the boxing game.

you people will know soon enough.

Non-compete agreements aren't worth the paper they are printed on. A company cannot prevent a person from earning a living. If Schafer leaves GBP, he will take Mayweather and all of Haymon's stable with him and will instantly become the #1 promoter in the sport.

Never was a boxer. Never will be a boxer. Rode the coattails of one of the most popular and financially influential figures in the sport in de la Hoya to the position he is in now. He's on his way out bud.
You have it all wrong. De La Hoya rode Schafer's coattails. De La Hoya couldn't manage his own career let alone run a promotional company. Schafer made GBP what it is today, not de la Hoya. If Schafer leaves, Oscar will find someone else to run the company because he is not smart enough to do it on his own.

Schaefer knows hes on the hot seat for having a leading role in floyd's 6 fight 30 million guarantees, which are only selling 800k ppvs.

The financial stress hes placed on GBP could cause it to crumble, as floyd is simply not capable of generating the required break even number (1.5 million) without a big name opponent, stacked undercard and mexican holidays.

I didn't know you were such a tough guy. Do you always resort to violence when you don't like someone?
