And to an extent, Matthysse by Garcia because his fans were acting like Lucas was the second coming of Tommy Hearns. I wouldn't say he was "exposed" but that fight really brought people back to reality.

We've had the good fortune of seeing many overpaid hypejobs over the years get exposed and humiliated.... from Jermain Taylor, Andre Berto, Adrien Broner, Lamont Peterson.... so who is your pick?

I'll give you Broner and possibly Berto (actually had a decent run) but not Taylor. The guy holds two wins over Hopkins and against decent names like Ouma and Spinks.

Yes, when people were hyping him as the next great MW it was crazy but at his best, he was most definitely an elite, top, world class boxer, sadly his chin and stamina let him down against Froch and Pavlik.

Nothing recently made me happier than Froch ending the Bute hype so brutally. I don't hold anything against Bute himself, but Froch is my favorite fighter and people were trying to crown Bute the best super middleweight for absolutely no reason.

There is no way you can call Jermain Taylor a hypejob. He was a very good fighter who flamed out quick. It happens. He earned his respect and status.
