The money powers behind boxing didn't step up (the networks) and force it to happen so I refuse to blame anyone but the networks. Espinoza wanted to stick it to HBO and HBO wouldn't budge....sitting around debating guys earning $20 plus million dollar payday several times a year is a fools errand...

Arum will stay alive just long enough so the fight expires. He'll die the day after Mayweather retires.Comment

It's not the networks fault. It's on the fighters and their camps. The reality is, this fight had one legitimate chance of being made. And that was after Floyd fought JMM and Pac fought Hatton. And that's because Floyd was basically broke and willing to play ball. And Pac screwed that up with not wanting to do the testing. After Floyd got the Mosley payday, he was done treating Pac as an equal. Which in turn means he wasn't gonna deal with Arum. And the only time Floyd showed genuine interest in fighting Pac was when Pac's TR contract was expiring the last time. I don't blame Pac for that. Floyd could easily be an adult and just make the fight happened with Arum co-promoting. But, Pac d1cked around with the testing. Pac d1cked around with the $40m offer. And now Pac has re-signed with Arum, again closing the door on the fight. Again, Floyd could be adult about it. But Pac is the one that was KO'd by JMM, putting him behind Floyd in status in the sport. He's also the one who's popularity has declined, casting him as the B-side in this one. And the A-side dictates. Manny has pulled several A-side power moves in his day. So to me it's very lame of him and his fans to cry foul when a bigger star A-sides Manny. The money powers behind boxing didn't step up (the networks) and force it to happen so I refuse to blame anyone but the networks.
