LOL @ this fight can happen in 2016 when Mayweather's contract expires with Showtime. Arum might as well have said this fight can happen in 2026, when Arum is hopefully dead. This way Arum will be out of the way...and Mayweather will need the money and not be concerned about his health anymore.

This article is the perfect example of why I despise this cacksucking pos LOL. I no longer order fights on PPV...I stream only now, and Bob Arum is the number one reason for my decision (horrible undercards, in-house fights, and more) right above Mayweather ducking fights.

This fight could really well happen though. Floyd Mayweather Jr has not made it official he will retire after his showtime deal. May 2016 could be the date , with Floyd looking to retire 50-0.

This fight hardly has any appeal right now...imagine in 2016...when Pac's entire boxing ability is centered on his speed and stamina...

the fight had appeal when Pac was an unstoppable force between 2007-2010 and Mayweather was untouchable...

Now the fight still has appeal but a weak performance by either fighter kills the fight more than it already has been...

Basically Rob Arum is saying that after he milks Pacquiao whose speed, power, stamina, and ability to take a punch are all diminishing...in 2016 when Pac is a shot fighter..and Mayweather is done with Showtime...Arum would be willing to step aside and let them fight on HBO LOL...

I'm not a religious person, but if there's a hell, Arum will be there..and Arum has a better chance of being hell before the Pac-Mayweather fight ever happens.

Arum is referring to the fact that Manny just signed a two year contract with him. He is basically reaffirming what we already knew - that Pac vs Mayweather won't happen while Bob is promoting Pacquiao.
