Who gives a phuck he forfeited the fight? Like he said...it's an amateur fight and no one gets paid. Nobody cares about an amateur fight unless you are Guillermo rigondeaux.

kid could have submitted him, but he chose to do the dramatic thing and get this exact story propagated all over the net; he thought all that out during this match executed to perfection, kid.

Exactly. I meant to point that out earlier. It's not like the only way to win would've been to maim/kill his opponent. Instead the kid chose to forfeit. Maybe he's just ******. There's always that. lol

i'm betting on incredibly smart, this was on the Today show and his name is now recognized. kid has fight game, that's apparent, he was hitting him with everything he threw but that far from guarantees a future in mma. i bet we hear about this kid in the future, if the fight game doesn't work out for him, like for most fighters, he has a great book to write on humanity

Let's be realistic here, if the roles were reversed would his opponent have done the same? The guy signed up for an MMA fight inside of a damn cage FFS! It's not like his only option was to strike with the guy, I'd be pissed off if my opponent handed me a mercy win, that **** is embarrassing to say the least.

I admire his selflessness but he should consider re-evaluating his career.
