I wish Golovkin good luck in securing that fight because he is going to need it. Martinez might fight him if he wins but I don't think that is going to be quick as Sergio will enjoy his victory and take his sweet time making a decision.

I don't think Martinez will fight Golovkin if he beats Cotto.

Cotto is going to shock a lot of people, and wear Martinez down. He won't fight Golovkin though, my guess is he either fights Floyd or Canelo for the title or drops the belt and moves back down to 154.

And Cotto should rightfully do that provided he beats Martinez. Golovkin is too primed; too big co-mentioning he even was moving up to weight recently against Chavez before it fell apart technically speaking he's 2 divisions higher. Cotto has had a long career, done his dues hosted more PPV events outside of May, Pac he's the 3rd largest draw in boxing.

Golovkin at this point doesn't have a fan base besides NSB so yea I'd do a skip and a pass for another Mayweather shot if it's offered.
