I don't know if it's as much about race with Larry as it is about Floyd being a Showtime fighter. If Floyd was with HBO we probably wouldn't be reading how he thinks Kovalev should move to Sho.

I have only been watching boxing for a few short years, where fighters always this locked to exclusive contracts with networks. If the gbp tr feud ends, will that also being and end to exclusive contracts

Not really the networks have been at battle for a long time and plenty of fights got messed up because one guy was tied to Showtime while the other was tied to HBO, the only time they worked together was Tyson-Lewis so it is possible they could work on a huge fight but anything less the same problems would still arise.

He's under contract with HBO right? Guess that answers your question.

Kovalev does not need to do any of that, just like Stevenson doesn't need to too!!! Am tired of fans complaining and whinging like little girls. If the fights that we want doesn't happen them either exercise patience or move the Phuck on. People are very short sighted and narrow minded, it was only yesterday that we were all crying about Garcia not fighting Matthyse but now it's all just plain excuses about how his eye was hurt doe.

Should have seen when he was defending Peterson and Berto for their confirmed steroid use during those times

Anyway, why is it always the HBO fighters that have to leave their promoters, their network, their teams, etc? Why is it never the other way around? It's Schaefer that's on record saying he won't work with Arum, so shouldn't his fighters leave?
