I don't think you understand the severity of those headshots Lara was landing on Angulo.

So why is it that Angulo was a finished fighter after Lara, but not a finished fighter after Kirkland pounded the living daylights out of him, and he spent 7 months in prison after that?

I wanna see Kirkland kill Ginger after they rob Lara when he clearly will win and get jerked. He will need a ko cause the judges are paid. Blake Griffin has a few more PPV fights so the networks don't want to mess that up for him smh.

They fought him in the same weight class, within 8 months apart, it's pretty much the same Angulo.

Had Canelo been a WW, and brought down Angulo to 147, now Lara would have a strong point. Like the May/Pac situation with DLH at 147 and 154, and Pascal/Hopkins fighting a better version of Dawson than Ward did.

Do you seriously think 8 months is enough to recover from the beating that he took and was made to quit?

155 isn't JMW. Canelo was a MW while Angulo was a JMW. Angulo actually tried to make weight.

Really cuban boxing is dead?!! At least we have the b*lls to fight any/everyone.
Plus Rigo is pound for pound, Abril is champ, barthelemy is ready to be champ and Cuba is in the finals of the World Series of boxing in their first year! Cubans are gonna be around for a while kid

it definitely didn't look like the same angulo.

when angulo fought lara he came out with a purpose and a desire to be the best around, but against canelo he looked like he was sleepwalking.

Angulo looked like that against Canelo because within the first 2 minutes of the first round he got clean by a series of Canelo power shots. But of course people never credit Canelo. It must be because Angulo was finished when Lara got through with him. Although curiously Angulo wasn't finished when Kirkland beat and stopped him in 6 rounds.

Of course he didn't fight the same Angulo, the angulo you fought wasn't scared of your power but Angulo certain respected Canelo's.
