You cant have a quillin quote without him talking how all of his beloved fans and his GEDWho cares? All Quillin is going to say is some bull**** like "If it it meant to be it is meant to be. I trust my team to make the right decisions and it is my destiny to be one of the best fighters in the sport. I'm happy with my situation at Showtime and I have big things in store for my future. I want to better myself and my community and do what's best for me and my family."Comment

It's not in the best interest of the fighter if their promote is sent packing from a network because they're seen to be dealing in bad faith.
Kinda limits their options, and their growth potential if they're no longer on the biggest boxing network.Comment

All that article states is that a portion of his fight night guarantee with NSAC was subsidized out of Maidana's PPV upside from ARGENTINA...
Maidana will earn $1.5 million but his purse is expected to be subsidized by pay-per-view upside and television money from his native Argentina which allows him to skirt some U.S. taxes.
Do you know how much money the fight generated in Argentina, because that money has absolutely nothing to do with American(Domesticated) PPV sales.
Need a example...
Mayweather-Hatton PPV Gets 1Million More Buys
The Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Ricky Hatton pay-per-view which took place in Las Vegas on December 8 has shattered UK pay-per-view buyrate numbers. According to The Telegraph, Sky Box Office estimates as many as 1.2 million buys and the number can increase to 1.4 million. The final number will not be known until January, but Sky says the final buyrate will be well over 1 million, cracking the 2002 record of 750,000 buys, set by Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson.
So to sit here and state that Maidana is only making 1.5 million total based of the US PPV butyrate, which is what your using, is a flat out lie!
Just log off, because Im really considering blocking your ass for you limited reading comprehension...
