Course he does, but Ward is a defensive master, a tactical master, a master of spoiling tactics aswell - Groves wouldn't be landing quite so effectively against Ward. Groves said himself, before the first Froch fight, he's not at that level YET. I'm not ruling him out altogether, but I'm reserving my opinion of him as a fighter until after the rematch. lol that's crazy but Groves does have a good chance. Ward is a very robotic fighter and guys with speed and angles always give robotic fighters problems but I think Ward is too well schooled to lose to Groves.

he's less robotic than a soon to be 37 year old carl froch, certainly, but he's far from a fluid fighter.

ward himself isn't all that fluid. he's just effective.

I get ya, mate. Tbh I wasn't even thinking of Ward when I posted that haha. Watched the first fight again last night and that's what I took from it. Was rooting for Georgie when it happened as I'd had enough of Froch talking himself up after Kessler II, Top 5 p4p and all that... Thought he conducted himself well after his fight with Groves though, the first round knockdown gave him a wee taste of humility, so I don't hate him as much now
