Course he does, but Ward is a defensive master, a tactical master, a master of spoiling tactics aswell - Groves wouldn't be landing quite so effectively against Ward. Groves said himself, before the first Froch fight, he's not at that level YET. I'm not ruling him out altogether, but I'm reserving my opinion of him as a fighter until after the rematch. A few too many people getting carried away...

That's why I'd like to see it.

About the other thing, I just think it's competitiveness between countries man. Like Mexico vs PR.

What do you mean by 'robotic'? Looks pretty slick to me...

baby hands ward probably isn't stopping groves, but he's not going to lose a round. they are in two completely different classes. ask george groves what he thinks about andre ward. expect candor.

i seriously wonder if you brits actually watch fights, or just find guys with the right laundry [union jack,] to root for.

george groves is going to be in a competitive fight with andre ward? why?

Well yeah but I was referring to your point about Groves looking a little disorientated when Froch landed, Ward isn't necessarily going to be able to do that

I like it too. He deserves to fight Ward if he beats Froch.

I was wondering who you guys root hard for lately though?

he's less robotic than a soon to be 37 year old carl froch, certainly, but he's far from a fluid fighter.

ward himself isn't all that fluid. he's just effective.

I get ya, mate. Tbh I wasn't even thinking of Ward when I posted that haha. Watched the first fight again last night and that's what I took from it. Was rooting for Georgie when it happened as I'd had enough of Froch talking himself up after Kessler II, Top 5 p4p and all that... Thought he conducted himself well after his fight with Groves though, the first round knockdown gave him a wee taste of humility, so I don't hate him as much now

I don't speak for all British fans unfortunately. I personally don't root for Groves.

Are you the spokesman for black american fight fans? Or is that NE even though he's a skinny white dude?
