If he is not going to give El Maestro a rematch he should move up to 147 already.

He's had more fights at WW than he has at 140.

He'll get broken down at welterweight. There are too many beasts at welterweight compared to light welterweight. His power isn't enough to ward off welterweights like he could against light welterweights.

Garcia will be fine at 147 physically and he definitely has the skills to compete. The top 10 is pretty competitive though. He should fight guys like Guerrero, Alexander or Khan in his first fight.

In my opinion Danny should first take three solid fight with guys that are not known for being power punchers. Paullie is a good name and wont present any type of threat. Devon Alexander would be another one only because he has decent boxing. If Danny does good which i know he can againts those two i mention Andre Berto should be his statement fight. Im not saying berto is a threat but he is good fight to market Danny.

Yep according to his earlier stats before he was known he fought regularly at 144lbs average. So he probably does need to move upto WW, to be fair he has been there a while now.
