Ok dude, you saw the Cotto/Clottey fight, if you felt like Cotto won, cool, but ALOT of people saw the fight and thought Clottey won. Tim was coming off a win over Marquez, yes, but that does not take away from him getting a gift decision (as you and most said of the first manny fight), and a probable lost and gift decision against Provodnikov. But hey, he won, was undefeated, was ranked 3 p4p. All that matters right?

Edit: My bad, I was thinking of the other quote. My point was not in regards to which weight class, but its a general statement. Its not always who you fight, yet when you fight them. This can and has been applied to many boxers, so dont take it personally cause its being stated in regards to Manny, but its a general statement, not even directly speaking of Manny and who he has fought (until i got into specifics).

Look at Brandon Rios. He lost to Alvarado, and then 8 months later he gets rewarded with a Pacquaio fight.

Like I always said "BOTH SIDES ARE FULL OF IT" he had a great opportunity to break free from Arum and go try to make that fight but instead he choose to stay with Arum knowing that a fight with Mayweather as long as he is with Bob Arum is Not Likely! If Cotto can break free from Arum and go make the Mayweather fight, why in the hell can't Pacquiao do the same?

That being said, staying with Arum gives Pacquiao Guaranteed Money and More Security compared to taking a chance trying to do things on his own and Promoting himself which Cotto Found Out IS NOT EASY which is why he went back to Top Rank

You make sense but the only thing we can really blame Floyd for was back in 09 asking for a random blood/urine test. Even though that should not have been a deal breaker but for Manny it was.

Any one know the details of the Pac contract? I read some fan post on youtube Pac contract also has him fighting exclusive to HBO. I don't know if that's true but if it is no matter if Floyd wants the fight or not he has a exclusive deal only to fight on showtime, so this fight might have no chance of being made.

Nobody is a hall of famer while they are fighting, but i digress. How dare Floyd, fighting guys ranked 1,2, or 3 in the division or a champion, and usually coming off a fight of the year candidate, a career defining win, or the best win of their career. How dare he do that? He should be ashamed of fighting those type of guys.
