All Pacquiao has to do in this scenario is train and fight, maybe do a Jimmy Kimmell interview twice a year.

Provodnikov. Arum has also mentioned doing a CW fight with the winner of Cotto-Martinez.
You are speaking more about Floyd Mayweather's independent Promoter deal, as opposed to being a Freelancer. Pacquaio could have been more like a Freelancer, in that he could sign single fight deals. Just like Mosley had a single fight deal with Top Rank, just for the Pacquaio fight. So Pacquaio could do exactly what you are talking about, but bounce back and forth between networks and promoters.

Nothing to do with Arum. Only the gullible believe it has anything to do with Arum.
yet, freddy roach said it was manny who walked away from the first fight back in late 09 early 10. so tell me, why pick and choose who u listen to and quote?

        Read above, don't be gullible.

I'm saying the Arum excuse doesn't wash, 50 Cent blew it out of the water, told it how it was. They were in negotiations to make the fight sans Arum and Floyd walked away.

So don't go believing it's about Arum because the opportunity was there to make the fight without him and Floyd turned it down and walked away.

I think it's a good way to avoid tougher fights. Much like what Bradley did. This is terrible.

I will never argue against guaranteed money.
If Pac felt it was better for him and his family to sign an extension and get guaranteed money then he did the right thing for him.

It sucks for us though, because this pretty much guarantees the end of a Mayweather/Pacquiao possibility, and it means we'll be seeing Marquez/Pacman 5 this fall.

First thing I thought...Manny should have 1-3 more MAXIMUM. Dec. '16 is more than that. Foolish in my opinion, but hey I'm not the one making millions, just doesn't seem wise at all.

So, 50 and Floyd were negotiating for Floyd? No Al Haymon, huh?
