He also has problems with tall fighters though. I thought he was looking very meh in his Austin fight

That does kind of suck for Pulev who has been in line the longest, but as long as he fights Stiverne it is all good.

I would hope Pulev would be the fight after, but Pulev does need to start making a name for himself and not just languish fighting scrubs in his mandatory position

Let it live for a second Wlad, fight Pulev and let Stiverne fight Wilder. Two good match-ups.

It seems Wlad really does not want to fight Pulev. Time to vacate Wladdy.
          Tell that to Floyd Mayweather.

We Be Crooks bro, cant trust these fools. I think Wilder is willing to fight for his right to face Stiverne, unless they really plan on paying Wilder substantial step aside money. (He requested ~$10 million)

They better allow unification because Golovkin is coming for the winner of that green belt!!

I don't see how it kills the division. Wlad isn't forcing the top HWs to beat on nobodies until its title time. They can actually fight each other whenever they want. But he is the champion.

Ex: Povetkin had big buildup because he had already beaten guys we've actually heard of (Chambers, Chagaev, Rahman, Byrd, etc.)

On a sidenote I just came across the most hilarious David Haye article and I don't know where else to share it: boxingnews24.com/2014/05/david-haye-could-bring-back-the-glory-days-of-boxing/

He is actually (inadvertetly) because none of them want to risk their ranking spot in fear of missing out on becoming mandatory.

A good example is Pulev, he's fought two nobodies for precisely that reason.

The risk-reward on facing a top opponent is high, because (a) there's no money in facing them, and (b) a loss virtually takes you out of the Klitschko sweepstakes.

As consequence, they all take the least risk possible to preserve their records and the fans lose out on the match-ups.

Fighting Wlad, he's guaranteed to make probably at least $5 million, if not more
If that's the case, then that would be the best option, but I don't think Stiverne calls the shots when he has highly influential Don King as his promoter. Hopefully King goes for the money, because a fight with wilder is not worth the risk right now.

Surely Kalle and the IBF will have something to say about all this.
