Exclusive Network Contracts is the problem, these exclusive contracts needs to die. HBO shouldn't have broke-ties with GoldenBoy. Promotional Beefs is enough as it is blocking fights.

Stop repeating yourself I know exactly what you mean, but Im still skeptical about the power they can enforce to stop such a bout happening on showtime if K2 agreed on the bid.

So why are you playing full ******. HBO has an exclusive North American TV contract with Golovkin, so he cant fight on any other network. If there is a purse bid, HBO would have to allow it (why would they), or the fighter gets stripped of the title. Another option would be to hold the fight in a different countries where HBO's contract doesnt extend to. How can they enforce it? Its called a lawsuit
