On one hand....Floyd should rematch Maidana, because it was the closest fight since Castillo I.

On the other hand....I'd really like one of his last three fights to not be a rematch.

And yeah I think maidana rematch is the heavy favourite which is a shame
Damn right it's a shame but i seriously can't think of anyone who's ready to fight Mayweather. They're either to inexperienced or their styles are tailor made for him.

I was looking forward to the Khan fight.I know he get's loads of sh.it off the ******s on here but there was an interview that Paulie and Roy did and they seem to think Khan has chance because of his style.

I'm not even saying the other name who he should fight

        might start a war off!

maidana rematch with maidana forced to wear pillows included in the contract this time.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing kahn though. I think he'd give floyd a tough fight.

I don't mind a Maidana rematch at all. It was an entertaining fight and a good clash of styles. It would be interesting to see what adjustments each fighter makes for the second fight. The interest in a rematch for fans is high so it makes sense financially.

I think Danny Garcia is a real dark horse in this race though. On an ESPN poll, there's a question asking who would you like to see Mayweather face next. The results are fairly surprising.

              Danny Garcia 32%
              Marcos Maidana 30%
              Amir Khan 27%
              Lucas Matthysse 11%

This says a lot imo. It seems Garcia's big win last September raised his profile immensely and the casual fan took notice. Millions of people saw him defeat Matthysse while a considerably smaller number saw him struggle against Herrera.

I'm leaning towards the idea of Floyd picking Maidana again but a fight with Garcia is also in his future. Also, Garcia might be more willing to face Mayweather now after the close call with Herrera.

Yeah it will be interesting to see Danny trying to land that big single left hook
                  NOT!

Boring fight, don't you think Mayweather won't see that coming?

His style is what Mayweather craves

The Maidana rematch seems like a waste of time to me, but it's pretty much inevitable. I just don't see any other money fights for him by September.

I think Garcia is the easiest matchup for Floyd out of the people on the poll. That's why the poll is a bit surprising. Had Lucas beat Danny I think the poll flips in his favor. Winning on the big stage means something especially to casual fans. The more hardcore fans (most people on this site) believe Floyd will pick Danny apart.
