Marquez vs Mayweather 2 why not?

Marquez doesn't look faster at all. Speed is relative to opposition. Alvarado was slow so Jmm looked to have exceptional speed. However, in the Bradley fight and Pacquiao IV, Jmm looked much slower. Jmm is not better than ever but he is still quite good. You can see his diminished reflexes with each fight especially against top competition.

I don't even buy into the newfound power theory either. Jmm has always had very good power and he isn't on some vicious tear as some people would make it seem. Mayweather/JMM 2 would most likely be much of the same.

I thought he looked pretty quick against alvarado and not just because alvarado was slow either but to say you dont buy into him having more power i mean come on man the guy obviously is stronger now then he was 4 years ago that dont mean its something illegal memo is best strength coach in the world whether he has ped or not but i think its plan as day he has gotten stronger under memo this marquez at age 30 would of been probably unstoppable for the most part

Floyd is the better defensive fighter, the faster fighter, all Marquez has on him is combination punching probably, but Floyd won't be there standing still in the middle of the ring like Mike was.

Again, Floyd turned down the blue Mx's, the red MX's, and the Cleto Reyes gloves because he said there wasn't enough padding in them. Floyd didn't want Maidana wearing the punchers gloves made out of horse hair, he wanted him to wear foam gloves.


The gloves for the Oscar/Floyd fight were negotiated in their contract MONTHS before their fight, Floyd knew from day 1 what gloves he had to wear. The gloves weren't switched on him the day before the fight like Maidana's were.
