Mike...shut up. You're not helping yourself. At all. It's actually on tape. We all saw the replay in slow motion. Marquez didn't go down. You're embarrassing yourself after a great fight in the second half and Marquez was 6-0 when that second half started. Just shut up.

I could see that as a legit complaint.
The scores were fine.

It's like in baseball, catcher's interference. Where if the catcher's glove interferes with the batter's bat in a hit/out, the ball is called dead and the batter gets to go to first base even though he didn't even get a hit.
Or in NBA, goal tending, you get the points even though the ball did not go in, but it probably would have if the defending player didn't put his hand in the way or whatever.
I think there could be a case here of "ref inference" too bad it's not a rule. But like I said, JMM clearly won but we should not put down Alvarez's complaint. He is frustrated, wore the colors of the Mexican flag, got boo'ed by all the Mexicans, lost clearly and felt he should have gotten an extra KD.
Ref Interference is what that was.

Forget about it
Mike. listen man you fought a decent fight but you cant **** with a true ****er on the inside and bro this man out scored you from the outside. I saw your trainer telling you to prove this guys age. Well tell your trainer " you fight the guy". You did all you could bro but!!! This is Juan Manuel Marquez, one of the best fighters in fighting history and one of the the best to come out of Mexico. Call it a day Mike, and listen bro. I have been watching boxing for 55 yrs and you seem lacking confidence and not into it. you had chances on the inside but this man was to much. Consider it an honor to have fought this man. Good luck on your next fight and you might consider changing trainers. Ck out Freddie Roach
