It will be interesting to see who is the "A" side of the fight. Manny's PPV numbers have been low against both Rios and Bradley, and Bradley II was one of Manny's lowest live gates to date. So obviously Marquez is just as big of a draw if not more than Manny. If I'm Marquez, I accept no less than 50/50 and I don't fight in Macau, but somewhere that my country men/women can be there to support me (maybe Texas). Marquez did KO Manny and just gave a brilliant performance against Alvarado. Marquez's problem, however, is that he has no other opponent that is PPV worthy in Top Rank's stable.

Seems to be the new norm with guys who have extensive Olympic careers/achievements. Rigondeaux and Lomanchenko both didn't have to wait long at all to get title shots.

I believe you're right but Pac only did 500,000 with Rios. Pac needs Marquez as much, or more, than Marquez needs Pacquiao at this point. I think Marquez wants that last fight to be the legacy of their matchups.

That may be true, but Arum is going to have to make the deal sweet because I think Marquez is cool with the last memory we have is Pac taking a nap in the ring. Besides, what are Manny's options?

That's what I was thinking, but the Pac fans think i'm delusional. I know Marquez is not going to take anything similar to the split Pacquiao vs. Bradley II was (Pac $20 mil, Bradley $6 mil). Marquez is going to have to get at least $10 million.
