You are an absolute idiot if you believe that.

It's the truth. When the fight could've been made Ward was saying "a year down the line", "in the future", "HBO don't want it right now".

Now he knows the fight can't be made, he's started talking. Why the sudden change? He's still not even saying "I want that fight", he's just trying to claim some moral victory.

Ward can still get this fight as he pretended he wanted...
... Ward is going to tweet something big in a matter of minutes... Or perhaps not.

At the age of 25 without any notable names on his resume, Andre Ward entered a tournament with Mikkel Kessler, Carl Froch, and Arthur Abraham among others. Andre Ward is not scared of anyone. That's not my opinion, he's proven it. He has consistently taken on the best fighters 168 has to offer. You can call him a boring, dirty, fake clincher all you want. A ducker? A scared man? That's one thing you can never say about Andre Ward. The second Ward's problems with promotion are solved, he will be back hunting down every single willing soul at 168. That's not my opinion, that's a fact. Ward has proven that.

I never said he was scared, I said he didn't want the fight. Ward is more focused on "getting to the next level" which in his mind is fighting on PPV. Chavez has been his target for a while now.

Ward's a genuinely great fighter, that's not in dispute. I think he beats Golovkin.
