This is what I've been waiting from Thurman. Unfortunately, the nice lack guy won't eat. You have to get a little nasty an call guys out LOUD! Thurman is putting Amir in a box. There is no excuse not to make the fight, unless he can get a fight with Porter.

Funny how anyone that calls Khan out and if Khan doesn't comply it is a flat out duck. Apparently Khan was ducking Brook too. Someone on NSB can make a thread calling out Khan and if he doesn't fight them that too will be a duck according to the logic of this board.
Did you people forget Porter and Maidana who actually did duck Thurman?
Khan at this point is aiming for a Floyd fight and Thurman for that matter does absolutely nothing as he is unproven and there is no incentive in Khan being his first world class test. The emphasis on "at this point".
There are far better options for Khan: Porter-Brook winner, Guerrero or a Maidana rematch. Thurman is a high risk and absolutely no reward fight.Comment

He is a confident young man. But all showmanship aside. Out of the veteran WW's in the division Kahn might be the one Thurman can look best fighting. We all know Kahn doesn't take punches to the chin well. A Human Rock'em sock'em match. I think Thurman might be overlooking Amir's power but hay I would like to see this fight.
Say what you want about Amir Kahn the guy is rarely in a boring fight.Comment

Thurman is tough, no doubt, has power, not a bad boxer. And if he connects obviously Khan has serious problems. But him calling Khan basically ordinary is ignorant. And unless Khan gets caught solid, Thurman has problems all night with him. He hasn't beaten the best, at least so far, and besides, it can't be forgotten Soto-Karass caught him solid early and rocked his world... so he has some liabilities as well. Khan would have his hands full even moreso than vs Collazo obviously, but unless he gets drilled solidly, he could speed past Thurman to an UD. I know the Khan haters would disagree, but that's still how it could go.Comment
