I don't dislike Quillin and all, hell I'm a casual fan of his sort of speak but I have a feeling if he wins vs GGG(if they fight), he's going to get really diva-like.Comment

It would be a fun fight and somebody would be getting hurt, probably Quillin because he has no defense but who knows he does have some firepower also and perhaps he could get Golovkin first.
It is one of the better fights to make at 160, it seemed possible to me but it is still one of those things you need to see real confirmation of to believe.Comment

He does not seem to fight well when his back is against the ropes. He sits and waits and does not seem to know what to do. He is just not in his comfort zone there. I also pretty much assume he would be against those ropes vs ggg.It would be a fun fight and somebody would be getting hurt, probably Quillin because he has no defense but who knows he does have some firepower also and perhaps he could get Golovkin first.

I don't know, but to me it just feels like he has regressed as a fighter. It is like KC lost something. He does not even seem hungry to fight. He comes out of the shadows once in a while and has a fight, but seems more content for a waiting game against Canelo.Comment

He has no inside game and he really is not a guy that clinches a lot so anytime a guy gets close to him he is totally lost. I don't know if that would cost him big against Golovkin because to me Golovkin is more of an outside guy as well but I see Quillin get tagged plenty from the outside also so either way Golovkin will find him. I do like Quillin's offense, as long as he has some space to operate. He does not seem to fight well when his back is against the ropes. He sits and waits and does not seem to know what to do. It is tough to get a feel for Quillin's career, he is kind of in a no man's land but I could see him going either way as it behooves him to have the biggest possible star when the Canelo fight is a possibility but then again he is close to that opportunity and getting beat would put a dent in his Canelo plans (although I have to say I think either way Quillin makes a suitable first opponent for Canelo at 160).
Still I will believe it when I see it announced, and maybe only after both start training.Comment
