I think you've got more chance of Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

Lots of factors preventing this fight:

    1. Al Haymon won't let one of his fighters go and help one of HBO's rising stars build up his name. And that's what Team GGG are looking for - that one fight that will propel Golovkin forward as a big star rather than the sort of cult favourite he is now. Al Haymon isn't in the business of helping the brand of fighters not signed to him.

    2. Why would Golden Boy release one of their fighters who holds a belt that could potentially be invaluable in the future (Canelo, Floyd)? Even if Oscar is trying to work with HBO again, Quillin is very much a Haymon fighter.

    3. Quillin himself. Why would he leave his comfy slot on undercards? Does he sound like he is disillusioned with how GBP move him? No. Compare him to someone like Thurman bursting to get better fights. KC is content get paid well on undercards and building up his bank balance. He doesn't have that competitive spirit to be the best. He's very business-like and as such, he will keep doing what he is doing until he gets that big pay day, probably against Canelo. Out of all of the Haymon fighters, he strikes me as one of those LEAST likely to push for a fight away from the comfort of GBP/Showtime.

    4. Quillin himself (again). Remember the interview where he was talking about GGG being very high risk and that he would need to be paid extremely well to take that fight? Well, for him to take this fight, he would be quoting huge numbers, much more than GGG would be getting.

Bit harsh, Quillin might be a bit reluctant but he doesn't seem like a bad guy.

he has a point, but that's now how the business works.

Maybe, but Quillin doesn't control anything, that's why he makes excuses. Haymon's controlling.

Clearly best opponent means best American opponent to some people. Not sure he'd beat Stevens to be honest. Quillin has a puncher's chance, but it's a good puncher's chance as he hits hard.

Wasn't that a joke tweet? WBN is Wheels Boxing Network.

Can't believe Haymon feeds Quillin to the enemy and i also think that Quillin doesnt have the balls to fight GGG, or just fight him "if the price is right"..at least 10 Mill$

GBP is keeping that belt warm for when Canelo moves to 160 guys.

They aren't handing it over to HBO on a silver platter, which is what would be happening if this fight were to happen

          use some critical thinking

Same here! Quillin is the biggest joke of a champion I've seen in years.

The fights took place at different weight classes though. Probably had something to do with the outcome. GGG Quillin and Rosado all fight each other at mw. And Taylor officially beat Hopkins twice so u don't have to put "IMO".

Yes, that is the reason Hopkins beat Pavlik. It was the weight. How does it feel making 5,000 posts on a website about a sport you know very little about?
