Dont think Gonzalez throws enough to get the decision
James Degale vs Brandon Gonzalez

Degale has fought almost all of his fights with a knee or groin injury since Sanavia (2012). He had his operations and is now injury free. This fight will really show us what Chunky is made of.
Gonzalez if he does win will Ward his way or should I say Khan 2.0 to a decision victory. KO from Brandon is unlikely.
Degale was never the mandatory to any title, he held the WBC Silver 168 title and they were steering him in that direction until the signing with Eddie and is now being directed towards the IBF version.
Bika has had 3 failed attempts at a World Title and 2 at final eliminators. He's been given way too many chances, so nothing impressive about him winning a "vacant" title.Last edited by Box-Office; 05-29-2014, 01:43 AM.Comment

I'm just not sure Degale has developed much since the Groves fight.
Certainly not as much as Groves. Degale seems to lack power though. I also wonder how he'd fair lying on the ropes as he sometimes does against a top SMW!?Comment

If the scorecards aren't already written before they even step in the ring, I got Brandon by decision with a very impressive performance. He's got stamina issues but Degale hasn't looked great lately. 8-4 Gonzalez.Comment
