It's not so much what he does, but how he does it. He does seem to have a really low self esteem, if you know the slightest of human psychology.

Its easy to call yourself TBE when you look good outclassing outmatched opponents. Hell Broner was doing the same and was being called a future p4p great. Its tough to know how great floyd is because of all the missing names on his resume, but he fights for the money and not for the record books so i doubt he's losing any sleep over it.

        No...

I am tall and handsome, have a hot girlfriend, a good job, and a huge ****.

I am just stating what is obvious to most well grounded people

I think floyd is a magnet for people with the exact personality you just described

Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest fighter of all time. With that being said Floyd is top 10 ATG and by the time he retires.........he'll probably be in the discussion.

I'm sure lots of people have said "the best ever".

For instance, Tyson-Bruno 2, Crocodile kept yelling "the best ever!"

And boxing had been around for centuries so I am sure it is nothing new.

In truth the way I see it is he is a very skilled, talented, and dedicated fighter but best ever or even close? Not a chance, he doesn't really have a signature win that he can always hang his career on. Pac in 2009/2010 would have been it if he fought and beat him but he came up with all of these overbearing issues and excuses not to fight and still is doing that.

He has out right admitted in videos that he is a cherrypicker and doesn't fight the best the rather the most credible and least dangerous opponent for the most amount of money which makes what he is doing a showcase rather than a sporting event.

If he fought and beat Pac at his peak since someone mentioned Roy Jones it would be like Roy's win over Toney it was dominant he practically shut him out and made no doubt about who was better and his quality ranked against the best in the world at the time, but...........that would be too risky for Floyd to attempt the same with Pac.

And that is what it comes down to, face at least one guy who is rivaling you for the spot at best in your division or era and beating him.....Floyd doesn't have a win like that but he had/has the chance to get it if he wants to still.

To casual and less than casual boxing fans (f l o m o s)...he's the best ever because he says so. To boxing purists, historians, true fans, die hard fans...he's not the best ever. He is a great however...just not the best ever.

You're not the best ever if you're worried about your opponents gloves on fight night and make him use ones you'd prefer to get hit with. Period.
