respect to oscar for being willing to finally put this cold war bs aside and make the best fights out there.........now it's up to schaefer to quit being a greedy **** trying to set up a monopoly with haymon ...

as fans we should demand that gbp and top rank work together again
Fights are not going to be made, arum controls half of the fighters while al Haymon controls most of gbp. I can't even think of some fighters on te gbp stable that aren't working with Haymon besides canelo

Bob Arum tried the same thing with HBO a few years ago as he saw HBO favoring Golden Boy, but came crawling back to them and talked, and HBO then let that stinking output deal from Golden Boy expire.

Golden boy was then no longer getting a guaranteed X amount of HBO televised cards per year, so they started using Showtime as some forced leverage until HBO had enough of the games.
Arum didn't come crawling back to them..HBO actually conced to part of what Arum wanted, which was the promoting of Pacquiao fights all over their networks.

The difference was, Arum only took Cotto and Pacquiao over to SHO for a short term...Mayweather signed a long-term deal with SHO, so Schaefer and GBP don't have that carrot to dangle over HBO anymore.

No, that was just some random twitter post from last week. Espinoza (head of Show sports and former GBP lawyer) claimed they didn't have any #s yet. Been 2 weeks since the fight, but they had no issues counting 2.2 mil buys 6 days after Floyd-Canelo.

Showtime is hemorrhaging money with that ridiculous Floyd deal. I'm sure HBO had a good laugh when Haymon tried to bully them into paying $32 mil guaranteed for Floyd to fight Robert Guerrero

That was part of it also, but I guarantee you that was also the Catalyst of letting that output deal expire. Arum was getting pissed he could get any dates while HBO viewers were being forced fed Berto vs Journeymen.

All we see now was the tip of the iceberg when cold war fence went up, but the battle and bickering was going on for years now. All sides wanting it their way. Arum is not the only snake in the grass. Oscar, Richard and Haymon are slithering also. They all wanted it their way, and were willing to bite the hand that fed them over the years.

You are more than likely right but that is still a possibility ...... Oscar knows Arum well. As you can see, Arum would be more than happy to do his part.

This has happened before where there are intentional leaks. I'm just throwing it out there.

Schaefer has been bragging about Mayweather's spectacular PPV numbers. You'd think that GBP is making truckloads of money. Either he's looting the company dry or the Greedy Team is the only one profiting. OR he just likes lying about the numbers to kiss Floyd's ass.

GBP hasn't been pumping out non-PPV fights since the Mayweather hype. They have a so-called stacked-stable, yet many of their fighters are now averaging one fight a year.

Hopefully they can work something out. With Golden Boy only paying Maidana 1.5 mil and Top Rank paying Bradley over 6 mil there's clearly something going on with Golden Boy. Are they losing big money on Floyd's PPVs? I thought Haymon was supposed to get his fighters 'record' purses? Why did Maidana only get 500k more than his last fight?

Well, its Main Events, Top Rank, HBO and possibly Oscar vs. Schaefer and Haymon.

                      Who else is missing?
