Truth be told, I dont even want to see Floyd fight anyone at all. He should take the year off.

I want those young guys fighting EACH OTHER, not cashing out with Mayweather and being used as pawns.

Garcia needs to improve upon his boxing ability. Thurman needs to fight someone on the level of a Tim Bradley.

Floyd needs to kick rocks or fight Pacquiao.

I know you may be ignorant to the boxing business just like the rest of the Pacquiao fans but I'll give you a pass this time due to you being a boxing fan from the U.K and don't know the politics in America regarding the sport but please update yourself to why the fight with Pacquiao was never possible from the get go. If he is under contract with Bob Arum, it is literally ****** to even put him as an option on this poll especially for Mayweather next fight this year.

While that might be true that's a pretty random post, this thread is about who he should fight next, before your post nobody even mentioned money.

Pacquiao, obviously. But realistically Maidana is the best option right now. Not giving Chino a rematch would be a bad look.

If Lara wiped Canelo then I'd be excited to see him in with Floyd. That could a fascinating fight or it could be dreadful, but I'd be willing to take that chance if Lara looks impressive.

Pacauiao or 2nd choice Khan. He already fought Maidana.

If he isn't fighting one of the two he might as well leave the sport alone, for it's own benefit.

With Maidana, Floyd will have that ref picked, gloves selection, ring size, .... everything that Maidana throws will have that ref ready and waiting to warn and deduct a point from him.

While Floyd will continue to elbow, clinch, forearm, ....... he may get a soft warning but nothing more.

While I think Maidana for sure deserves a rematch and that it would be a good fight I would like to see Mayweather fight someone else. He only got like 3? fights left on his contract and I want to see him fight some other guys. Maidanas style is pleasing but we have seen that style quite often against Mayweather, would be great to see Mayweather against a quicker guy or a great boxer.
