It was a mental thing for Margarito, he could not use the plastered wraps for that specific fight and that gave him a mental block knowing he could not hurt Mosley without it.

With plaster Margacheato would have KO Mosley.

styles, good gameplan, mosley fought a great fight, plasterito's mind may have not been all there since he just got caught.

Nah I think the BALCO scandal happened way before the margarito fight. The video off him testifying was some time before he fought margarito.

No...he gave his deposition Oct 27 2009...the date is in the video and is confirmed by the investigator at the beginning of the video below... the fight was in Jan 24 2009...9 months earlier. After that he apparently stopped using PED's. The scandal started earlier but Mosley was in denial and even tried to sue Conte for slander but later dropped the case for obvious reasons after the deposition.

Mosely said it best before and after the fight....he grew up fighting mexicans in southern cal gyms. Margarito fit the profile and was the perfect opponent for Sugar to look great against.
