Because Margarito was never as good as people pretended he was..I personally love watching Tony fight, but I also feel people made him to be a monster when he wasn't really....He was the epitome of the Mexican warrior, but really he had no skill.. Also making Tony seem like an indestructable force fit the agenda of certain folks; "Floyd was scared of him, and Pac destroyed him" when in reality Tony was never that good and Shane if a future HOFer.

Mosley was shot during that fight to but Margacheato didn't have his plaster wraps to help him wear old man Mosley down. He hadn't fought in a year and a half after and still had Floyd hanging on for dear life.
Like many of Mayweather's wins it doesn't look that great in retrospect. Mosley, Hatton,(after what Pac did to him) Ortiz, Guerrero look like the cherry picks they were. Maidana is going to take a few more losses as well and people will be wondering what happened to the guy that gave Floyd such a tough fight.

Mosley's style was completely wrong for Margartio, just that many of us were too busy still having an ****** from his Cotto victory to realize it. Margarito was also off mentally (plaster scandal) and physically (Cotto war), he had already lost even before he stepped foot inside the ring.
