Honestly, about the 4th or 5th round I thought Bradley was taking over and Pac was going to lose. Then Bradley gassed and started fighting really, really ******. Pac was still too much, even as bleh a performance as he gave.

Bradley had to have the dumbest game plan ever. First of all, you are feather fisted, what makes you think you have a great chance of knocking Pac out? You barely survived Provo (a guy below Pac in terms of skill level). Secondly, you are at your best when you box. If you outbox him and the judges gave him a gift decision you'll likely get a rubber match down the road somewhere. Since you allowed him to beat you convincingly, that will never happen. Provo must've killed a great deal of your brain function.

I guess I blame Joel Diaz. He should've told Bradley it'd be better to box & lose a close decision then step completely outside of himself & try to be someone he's not.

At the time, the ultimate goal was winning & they really thought that was the only way. But if you go into a fight saying the only way to win is to do something you aren't built to do, I guess that's another way of saying you've already lost the fight.

This is funny because when debating about PAC/Bradley 2, Floyd fans want to use the excuse that bradley threw the fight away by choice for trying to ko manny when Bradley has no ko power. But when debating about other certain boxers with not so great power, the Floyd fans goes, it's not so much about power but timing. A perfect punch will put anyone down. And I agree with that it's funny to read shiiet like Bradley threw the fight away for what ever reason(s) trying to go for the ko when he has no power lol.

YOu generalize too much about floyd fans. They all do not have the same opinion just because they like floyd. You should limit this opinion to the floyd fan who posted it.

fights are discussed in a vacum. what happens in one fight doesn't mean the same thing applies in another fight with different fighters. AN opinion about one fight doesn't mean you are limited to that opinion in another fight.

KO's are also about fatigue, poor defense and balance, as well as power and timing.

I say all that to say this-Tim was in the fight after 6 and fought a completely different way afterwards. IMO his trying to get a KO was silly given who he is. He had a better chance of winning by boxing. that does not mean if he boxed he would definitively have won.

In the JMM fight, Manny made a mistake, left himself wide open, was off balance, got timed, and the punch landed perfectly. JMM got the KO in part because of what he did prior to landing the KO punch by stepping back a little. JMM let the KO "come to him"

Tim wasn't trying to time or set traps, he was trying to land a big blow to get a KO.Thats why IMO it was an ineffective strategy.

If Bradley had boxed in the Pac fight as brilliant as he did against JMM, he would have been much harder for Pac to beat. And he still was difficult for Pac at times. That's coming from a Pac fan. Bradley has made the same mistake twice, against Provo and then against Pac. He needs to learn from his mistakes, not repeat them. He is great when he boxes like he did against JMM and I look forward to seeing him against anyone. He is one hell of a fighter.

umm thats what i did, i quoted u didnt i? LOL!!! why do u keep saying going for the ko is silly? nobody thought marquez could ko manny and look what happen? perfect punch at the perfect time will put anyone down. its just funny how some people act like tim lost that fight purely on himself for trying to score a ko when he has no ko power but when debating about sonmeone else, its not about power but timing.
