I think Broner is downplayed because Maidana is downplayed.. and he lost badly to Maidana.

he beats Zab though. Zab gives him time to think and his youth and strength overwhelms zab.
You hit the problem on the head!!!

Maidana has improved dramatically since hitting the WW division and many are locked into seeing Maidana as he was, instead of what he's become.

I don't downplay Maidana at all but did you see Broner's last fight? It was nearly a repeat but his opponent was hired to lose. He was caught by almost the same overhand right and spent much of the fight trying to hump him and waste time.

From what I've gathered he simply does not know what to do when he gets hit.

It's funny the Judah myth does still exist.

What's prime Judah? The one that struggled with Corley or the one that lost to Cory Spinks?

            I agree.

"Prime Judah" - didn't he do a silly dance vs Kostya after talking a lot of trash?

the one that isn't 36 with 51 fights... That's not that old for most fighters but for one who relies entirely on speed its ancient

I never said he was that great, I just don't think very much of Broner

Zab Judah wins a comfortable unanimous decision.

the one time Zab earned my respect was when Spinks tried to lowball him in the rematch and he STILL took the fight in STL and won

Well yeah obviously he's not prime now.

But you're saying "Prime Judah wins every round" against Broner. Who did Judah ever shut out?

He struggled badly with Demarcus Corley in his prime. He lost to Cory Spinks in his prime.
