Mares should go back to Joel Diaz. Robert Garcia would be great for him too.
Mares should have never left Nacho. He was training hard and learning a lot with him.

Robert Garcia would get Mares killed, he's not fighting Bantamweights anymore. I heard he still plans to move up to 130 soon. He wants to add new weapons to his arsenal. Let's see what Virgil Hunter can do with him.
I couldn't agree more with that post. Virgil has an big emphasis on defense. Khan looked great in his last fight against Collazo. Khan was extremely tactical even though his tactics included holding. But it was smart holding, which played to Khan's advantages. Also, Virgil is not the type to completely change one's style. Beristein on the other hand is a perfectionist who demands that his fighters fight to his EXACT specifications down to the most minute details.

I agree with these guys. Nacho B. was the best for him.

Lets see how he does with Virgil Hunter, he might be able to tighten up his defence a little bit. Mares has been in a lot of wars throughout the years, maybe it's time for him to slow it down a little bit and fight more defensive minded.

Is that really how it went down? Why does he not like Espinoza, did Nacho want to be the one calling the shots in terms of matchmaking?
