IMO this is about the strategy Mke uses...IMO JMM has slipped in his past 2 bouts & he was 4 rounds behind when he delivered the ko 2 Pac...

It's gonna take more than 7 months to shake off that beating, but Mike is a crazy dude...gets roughed up, cut up, swollen up, and is ready to sign for a new fight before he even heals up. I think JMM will look his age in this fight.

He ducked Rios what makes you think he would fight Maidana, Mathysse, Maidana, Thurman...etc when he knows Marques is smaller 41 year old over the hill, he is in no hurry to face this guys thats for sure.

I will absolutely not be ok with that fight or even a 5th with Marquez. I also wasn't as low on Maidana as everybody else and believed he deserved a shot.

Why is it a 12 round bout? Is the 143lbs limit a NEW weight class!
Both of these men would benefit from this bout being 10 rounds. They have had a lot of hard work in their last bouts and stretching them to 12 serves no purpose. The 12 rounder's are for titled bouts is this another "inter-continental-by the sea-over the land" Championship bout???

I hope they fare well because both of these men are at their end of being able to absorb punishment! It is amazing how promoters, managers and trainers don't see when their fighters are at the point of needing "damage control"!
Marquez was getting rocked in the Pac win, he looked unsteady at times with Tim. Mike is a warrior and those guys simply don't last because they get hit with bombs throughout their careers!

Regardless of the out come I hope both call it a day! Ray.

This lack of focus and discipline is what snatches the championship rounds, what helps you weather the storm it gives you the confidence to press the action, speed up the tempo etc.. i guess mile high mike did not get tje memo
I guess the steroids didn't hurt Mosley though eh?
