Winning a few rounds against Floyd must be that big an accomplishment.

This writer is on mayweather's payroll. Maidana still thinks he won he means the judges saw him winning. Yellow journalism at its best.

He won the respect of the people. Nothing wrong with losing honorably in a close fight
Nothing wrong with him thinking he won the fight. It was a 9 punch difference, according to showstats. And the power differential between the two men can more than excuse a 9 punch gulf.

it was a very close fight and there needs to be a rematch.

I think Lionel Messi or Sergio Martinez would be more likely to be King of Argetina.

          You know....guys that actually win.

Yes, Yes, we all got tired of seeing Mayweather win nearly every round in his fights so when he lost a few close rounds to Maidana, we want to think he lost the entire fight.. I wouldn't be surprised if Showtime is already working on the rematch. Easy sell.

You didn't lose champ, the vast majority of boxing fans know you won the fight

Boxing politics and Al Haymon can't take that away from you

What he's saying can't be denied tho. He's won the respect of a lot of ppl. Myself included. Now do I think he won? No. But he fought the fight that gave him the best chance of winning.

I'm surprised no Mayweather fan has said : "Good luck payin' the bills with priceless affection muhfucca!"
