Shut your mouths! Jarrod Fletcher is a tough Aussie warrior! He got his ranking by accumulating regional titles and defeating a Top 5 ranked WBA middleweight in Max Bursak! That's how it is done, just because you don't know the guy by name doesn't mean he hasn't worked hard for his ranking, everyone has to start somewhere!

GGG should just vacate the WBA and fight Geale, as nobody takes the WBA seriously anyways. HBO wouldnt care, he would save the 3% sanctioning fee, and he would also then most likely immediately be rated #1 in the WBO to make him Quillin's mando........

THey offer almost the same Golovkin makes... only other person they get more from is Sturm or Martinez.

I guess now HBO and GGG team offer more than Sturm and Quillin combined.
Sturm paid good money only when he was chasing a belt. Sturm with the belt is not very generous anymore.

FFS - Fletcher's not even the #1 contender and only one place above #3 Geale who Gennady's trying to fight anyway - surely a pass to fight #3 Geale instead of #2 Fletcher is appropriate in this situation.

WBA looking for step aside $s IMO.

I'd be OK with them ordering GGG to fight the Nielson - Chudinov winner, who would be their legitimate challenger, but trying to enforce Fletcher over Geale is just BS.

It's almost like there's a f#kkin conspiracy to stop Golovkin fighting anyone with a pulse.

That said, Jarrod ain't terrible, but he's a fringe / regional competitor at best.

W/E, make the fight and have Geale/GGG the next month since this fight won't last very long

Kind of messed up timing. His team had just tried to make one fight and was trying to make another.

Unfortunately, Golovkin isn't one of those fighters who can afford to drop a paper belt.
