Guillermo “Felino” Jones’ has until Thursday to select a date, set for next week, to have the Swiss Laboratory open the "B" sample of his drug test for the recently canceled rematch with Denis Lebedev (on April 25). Prior to that fight, samples were taken and analyzed by Switzerland's Swiss Laboratory for Doping Analyses (LAD). Jones' 'A' sample test positive for banned weight cutting agent Furosemide, the same substance which Jones tested positive for after knocking out Lebedev in 2013.

My thoughts exactly - i guess an attonry has to be present etc... i dont think its gonna be negative - why would he cheat again de ja vu? Something about Russia on this one, just knew they werent ready to cash out on lebedev just yet, if they ever fight again, Jones will kill him - literaly

Come on, man... Do you seriously think that the Russians spent a sh.itload of money on the promotion, sold the tickets etc, only to weasel out of the fight at the last minute? Is it impossible to believe that maybe Jones really cheated?

I have yet to see a fighter (or other athlete) who got caught and didn't make some kind of excuse. Low T, asthma, anemia, contamination, the commission cheated etc.

I think Lebedev would have beaten Jones, had the fight gone ahead. He would have won first time around if he'd been a little more careful and paced himself better. But Jones was so easy to hit that Lebedev banked everything on taking him out early, and paid the price. I don't think he would have made that same mistake again.

Funny thing is that King said no B sample was taken.
