Who else dislikes Max Kellerman ?

The one thing I give him credit for is his willingness to go against the grain at times, which is difficult on a boxing broadcast as they descend into group think so easily.
Case in point is JMM vs Juan Diaz I, where Lampley and Steward were both going crazy for Diaz' aggression, but it was Kellerman who pointed out that Marquez was actually doing the most damage in the exchanges along the ropes.
Similar story in Pac-JMM 3, where he was the only one of the broadcasting team who recognised how well JMM was doing before the penny finally dropped around the 9th or 10th round.
Maybe that's stylistic bias in action as well, but credit where credit's due. He got those ones right.Comment

I first found my distaste for him when he had his own show on ESPN, "Around the Horn", I think it was called. Couldn't stand the show nor him, the feeling still lingers.Comment

Max seams like a cool individual. Not a bad analyst.... much worse out there; Tarver for example... couldn't stand that fool!!!Comment

He just hosted it, but it had/has 4 other writers/personalities and they go to each of them on various sports topics of the day. Also it is a baseball term when you go from third to first throwing it to each guy which is also 4 guys.
It is still on just Max isn't involved.Comment
