I am a light heavyweight, I have spared with lightweights, sparing is cool because the are fast, and if you don't keep focus the will beat you up.

But if I step in the gas, I will break then down and beat them up quickly

Ancd that is tyne main problem, its hard to keep the balance between getting bored and then take advantage or you get mean and **** them up

I sparred a current champ, won't mention his name out of respect. I took him lightly cause of his size until he cut my lip. I snapped and got him in the jaw with 3 quick uppercuts followed by six overhand rights to the chest. He collapsed in the center of the ring for 18 minutes. I felt bad, but he is a pro and tried to boss me around by breaking my lips open.

I have a lot. I'm a heavyweight and have sparred light heavy, and even middleweights before to help them with someone my size.

As I only spar with women due to safety reasons, they are often considerable smaller than me.

I sparred with all shapes and sizes. I actually have an easier time with bigger, slower heavyweights, rather than fast, accurate welterweights.

I sit in the CW division but have sparred with MW's and LHW's and a good MW or LHW can certainly ring a few bells if you don't concentrate and take them lightly.

It's not fair to throw full blown shots at a smaller man, even with all the gear on I once sparred some knobhead who was a SMW and I wanted to keep it challenging but not to the extent where I'm being battered for a World title, the guy thought it was a real fight and gave me a few low shots and several to the back of the head at that point I clocked him and put him on his arse. I do however feel bad and that I should have let the round end and spoken to him, although it wasn't a big power shot it was enough to hurt the guy who was considerably smaller in weight than me.

It's about a mutual agreement, You don't go in there to kill the other guy, due to my operations i've not sparred in ages but I do find myself constantly telling the younger guys to try and be smart rather than brutal in a sparring session when their opponent is smaller.

I usually nullify speed by cornering the guy and do like a pushing jab to the chest to knock him off balance followed by a haymaker on top of the skull. Not much padding here and the guys legs tend to buckle on impact.
