Every time floyd fights the opponents trainer, TV analysts, media and the regular NSB anti floyd brigade already in this thread suggest the best way to win is to fight dirty-make it a brawl, don't let floyd breathe etc. etc. It gives the opponent the best chance to win so I'm fine with it.

Floyd responds in kind. He matched Maidana's low blows with his own. He matched Maidana's clubbing and roughhousing with elbows. He didn't respond to the tackle or the attempted knee.

Floyd was forced to fight a dirty, rough brawl and he still managed to win 7-8 rounds on over 80% of the reputable scores for this fight.

when you win a tough fight, despite being the heavy favorite, you earned the credit you recieve.

If Floyd attempted to knee anyone, he'd be despised today. No, it isn't ok to foul in an attempt to win. Floyd understands his opponent and what they will do to win so he prepares for any and everything to win. Duran, Frazier, and Randall didn't have to fight dirty to beat legends.

I just caught the showtime all access episode where it shows the moments after the fight and some parts are during the fight and roberto can clearly be heard telling him in spanish to fight him dirty and to cheat. dont forgoet this is already on top of him trying to use gloves with absolutely no padding that the state commisson declined(which should be a hole otther suspension for chino).Theres alot of shadyness surrounding this trainer hes fighters never make weight or cheat to make weight and he trained margarito so the whole gloves incident was no accident i bet.

If u want to see it urself go on youtube and search for all access epolgoue and you can read the subtitles where he tells his fighter to cheat. it was probably edited down some to to not make it seem like a big deal.
