The point that he's making is, styles make fights. Maidana is a swarmer who like to smother his opponents counter-punching space/room on the inside, Manny is a mid-range fighter who has limited inside fighting game. Believe it or not, it's easier to timed his offensive rhythm because even when he attacks his opponents, he still give them enough room and space to set up their own counter-punches.

Manny has an on and off rhythm where he take a step back and move in to throw punches, then step out and in again. It's not easy to do the same thing and land with consistency against Floyd, you have to be able to variates your attack in order to land consistency on him and Manny is far from being a versatile fighter.

he is at this point, which is why despite its irrelevance, the fight now has a higher chance than ever of actually happening

Mayweather Pacquiao has always been a pointless fight.

People think if Mayweather takes a fight he knows he going to win.

Manny is far from a versatile fighter? Have you ever seen him fight De La Hoya? Have you seen Manny fight Hatton?

Lol @ this idea that Manny has a poor style for Floyd...Manny is a volume punching Southpaw..with great hand speed and foot speed and uses angles...obviously he's no where near the Pac in 2007-2010...but right now he still hits Floyd more than Maidana, Cotto, De La Hoya etc.

Marquez has figured Pac's style and has the chin to give Pac fits...Jose Luis Castillo is Mayweather's Marquez...so people should leave triangle theories out of it...if Pac had fought Castillo and destroyed him...people would be saying Pac would destroy Floyd...

Don't tell me your opinion isn't based on Marquez either...

From range his angles isn't as befuddling and for a master boxer even less, Mayweather will have a sniper's view on what Pacquiao is plotting and Pacquiao losing patience will revert back to overextending off balance, missing whilst getting countered. It's sad that you can't see the obvious though. It's a money fight, not a competitive one and Mosley exposed that a long time ago.

Marquez does figure greatly in my assessment. However, I think Floyd has been beating better competition. Bradley P4P status was overrated. He didn't win either fight, and almost got destroyed by Ruslan. Beating Marquez was an accomplishment, but he didn't beat him like Floyd did. The way Floyd schooled Marquez is too impressive for anyone to say it doesn't affect their judgement.

Please, Floyd bloated JMM in order to beat him, he knew what he was doing. Bradley went from 185 to 147 in like 2 months, that's why he looked so bad in the Ruslan fight. He'd destroy Ruslan in a rematch, easily. Bradley was kicking Pac's ass in the rematch until he pulled a hamstring. Only the top....and I mean most elite fighters in the world will beat Bradley.

Floyd has been cherry picking his way to an undefeated record...fighting guys at catchweights, picking the gloves the use or threatening to quit the fight, retiring multiple times. He fights guys that he knows he can beat and it almost cost him this last fight and I promise you there will be no rematch.

Don't drink the Floyd cool-aide man, he is mostly smoke and mirrors...there is a big reason why Floyd never fought Pac and it ain't all on Arum.

Well there you have it a Mosley who lost every round and was knocked down by Pac but almost knocked Mayweather down proves that May will dominate Pac lol...

Who needs to see May and Pac...everyone seems to know how the fight will play out... lol How convenient for Floyd and his legacy btw...

The fact that a fighter got pulled out of a retirement home, and Pacquiao couldn't cut him off on his wheel chair says a lot about how Pacquiao-Mayweather was initially a glorified mismatch. Mosley, even in his prime was never noted for being a mover and yet he had Pacquiao looking amateurish. As for the bold, I'm not interested, if the fight is your cup of tea then so be it, I genuinely don't care and haven't cared for quite some time.
