HBO and SHO telecasts often do more than 964K viewers and those are pay/subscription cable channels. This was on ESPN, a basic cable channel, and they weren't able to draw 1M for a heavyweight title fight with a Mexican-American? Man, I was honestly hoping to see a rating like 5M. I guess I was clueless. They need to advertise more next time.

Hell most Netwrk channels don't get 5m on a regular basis.
You have to remember this is cable tv, and the 0.8 share tells us nothing about the viewers. The lowest 0.8 rating I have seen is 1.35m. Its the 18-49 rating which apparently channels treasure the most. 0.8 on a Saturday will put it between the 6th-8th highest rated cable show of the day.
ESPN never gets huge ratings unless the are showing a big game of some sort. I checked the last two Saturdays and they werent even ranked in that time slot.Last edited by Da Machine; 05-12-2014, 10:07 PM.
